At the 2018 Country Music Association Awards, Nicole Kidman was once again there for her husband, Keith Urban, as he was named Entertainer of the Year. The 51-year-old Australian actress couldn’t hide her pride as she watched her husband, also 51, take home the prestigious award.
Nicole dazzled in a black top adorned with feathered accents and a plunging neckline. Her knee-length skirt highlighted her toned legs, and she accessorized with gold bracelets and pendant earrings. She styled her hair by pulling some of her locks into a ponytail, letting the rest cascade in waves over the right side of her face.
Keith kept his look simple yet stylish, wearing a green t-shirt paired with jeans and a plaid blazer. As the winner of the night’s biggest honor, he gave an emotional acceptance speech, thanking his fans, crew, God, and his late father. He teared up while looking out at the audience and his beautiful wife before ending his speech with, “God bless country music.” This win marked his second time receiving Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards, having previously claimed the title in 2005.
Throughout the night, Keith took the stage twice, first performing “Highway 40 Blues” with Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Ricky Skaggs and his band, Kentucky Thunder. Later, he had the crowd, and his wife, on their feet as he performed “Never Coming Down.” It was a night filled with love, music, and memorable moments.
