Near the edge of a quiet rural farm surrounded by tall grass and scattered banana trees, a terrifying struggle unfolded beneath the warm glow of late afternoon sunlight.
The small dirt pathway beside the farmyard looked peaceful at first—gentle wind moved through the vegetation while distant birds called from nearby trees.
But hidden near a cluster of old wooden crates and dry leaves, danger had already struck.
A large snake had wrapped itself tightly around a helpless chicken.
