The early morning sun cast a warm golden light across the quiet countryside as a truck made its way along a winding rural road.
Rolling hills stretched into the distance, while wooden fences bordered green fields where farm animals grazed peacefully. The journey had been calm, with very little traffic sharing the road.
As the driver rounded a gentle bend, something unusual near the roadside caught his attention.
At first, he thought it was a pile of brush lying beside a drainage ditch. But as the truck moved closer, he realized it was actually a small donkey standing awkwardly near the edge of the ditch. The animal remained in the same place, occasionally shifting its weight but making no real progress.

Once the pathway was ready, the rescuers stepped back to give the donkey plenty of space.
For a few moments, nothing happened.
The donkey simply looked toward the newly prepared path.
Then it took one careful step.
Its hoof landed securely on the first board.
Encouraged by the stable footing, it continued forward.
Step by step, the donkey slowly climbed the gentle slope.
The boards prevented its hooves from slipping, allowing it to maintain steady progress.
Within a minute, the donkey reached the top of the embankment and stood safely on level ground.
Everyone smiled with relief.
The donkey paused briefly, stretched its legs, and calmly looked around before lowering its head to nibble at the grass growing beside the road.
The veterinarian approached slowly for a closer visual examination.
