An adult star has spoken out about the impact that shooting an extraordinary number of scenes in a short period had on her body.
Hayley Davies, a performer in the adult entertainment industry, recently discussed her experience on Holly Randall’s Unfiltered podcast.
During the conversation, she shared details about her move from New Zealand to the United States, where she took on an intense workload.
Davies explained that within just six months, she had filmed approximately 300 scenes – an average of two per day.
However, due to the demands of editing her own content, she often filmed multiple scenes in a single day.
“There would be days where because I was doing everything myself – now I have some help with editing – but I would need some days to edit,” she revealed.
Although she wasn’t filming daily, editing responsibilities still meant she was constantly working.
“I never took days off, but I would need days to edit. So not every single day was a collab.”
For those unfamiliar with the term, a ‘collab’ refers to a collaboration between two OF creators producing content together.
While Davies typically filmed two scenes per day, there were occasions where she pushed herself even further.
“I some days did five, which was hectic. Some days might have been like one,” she admitted.
The intense filming schedule inevitably had an impact on her health. Davies openly described the physical strain her body endured from shooting so frequently.
“My p*ssy was getting so painful that I would be taking two Tylenol and two Advil in the mornings before my shoots,” she confessed.
As the day went on, she found herself relying on painkillers even more just to push through.
“Throughout the day, I found myself taking more just to get through. I kept mentally telling myself, ‘It’s OK, I can get through this.’”
Podcast host and adult film director Holly Randall questioned whether Davies ever considered taking an extended break to recover.
“You didn’t think: ‘Maybe I should give my body a break’?” she asked.
However, Davies explained that she never allowed herself more than a couple of days off at a time.
Randall also inquired about her motivation for maintaining such an intense work pace.
She wondered whether Davies was trying to stockpile content in order to take a break later.
Davies, however, explained that her decision was driven by the momentum of her growing career.
“[It’s] because I was blowing up… I’m so data and number-driven, and I was doing so great,” she explained. “I just wanted to see how far I could go.”
