Back on the shore, the farmer and his wife had spotted what was happening. They rushed toward the river, shouting encouragement through the rain. Daisy, exhausted but determined, made one last push and Liam’s tiny hands grabbed the farmer’s arm.
Both baby and goat were pulled to safety, shivering and soaked, but alive.
