Near the edge of an abandoned storage area beside a country road, stacks of old concrete blocks had been left untouched for years.

Moss covered their surfaces, weeds grew through cracks, and vines wrapped around sections that had slowly shifted with time.

Though forgotten by most people, the area often attracted small animals seeking shade or shelter.

Not far away, a young deer had wandered out from the nearby woods during the early hours of the morning. Curious and alert, it moved carefully through patches of grass, occasionally stopping to listen to the sounds of birds overhead.
