Farmer Rescues a Deer Caught Inside a Feeder
The farmer noticed something unusual near the feeder while checking the property, but he could not immediately tell what it was. As he moved closer, he suddenly realized that a deer had somehow become caught inside the structure and was struggling to find a way out.

If the deer cannot free itself, contact a wildlife professional, veterinarian, animal rescue organization, or appropriate local authority. When an animal is caught inside farm equipment, avoid forcing it out without the proper knowledge and equipment.
Can you rescue a wild deer yourself?
A wild deer should generally not be physically restrained or moved without proper training. Even a calm-looking deer can react suddenly when frightened or when it believes it is being cornered.
The safest response is usually to keep the surroundings quiet and create distance while contacting trained professionals. If the animal can safely free itself after an obstacle is opened, allowing it to move away on its own is often preferable to unnecessary handling.
