Rick Harrison is gearing up to walk down the aisle a fifth time with his new fiancée Angie Polushkin.
The “Pawn Stars” alum popped the big question to his longtime girlfriend with one of his most prized possessions. The romantic update comes over a year after the TV personality lost one of his three sons, Adam Harrison.
Rick Harrison’s son passed away in January 2024 due to an accidental overdose. His death occurred four years after his father secretly ended his third marriage to DeAnna Burditt in July 2020. He gained three stepdaughters from their union, who played a key role in his latest proposal.
Rick Harrison Pops The Big Question With A 6.5-Carat Ring
According to new reports, Rick ensured his new fiancée Angie understood how deeply he loved her by proposing with one of his most treasured items. The 6.5-carat pear-shaped ring initially came to his iconic Vegas pawn shop in a different setting.
However, Rick customized it to make it more personal and worthy of his lover. A rep for the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop owner claimed he described the eye-catching gem as “breathtaking just like Angie is” and even popped the question TWICE!
The TV personality first got down on one knee in his living room, but his stepdaughters were appalled by the unromantic gesture once he told them about it. They insisted he needed to propose again, and Rick finally got the chance during the couple’s trip to South America, per TMZ.

Rick’s second proposal took place at the Casablanca Valley, Chile. The scenery reportedly enamored him, and he knew it was the perfect spot to pop the big question again. Naturally, Angie said yes and even looked surprised, as seen in the pictures the pawn shop owner shared.
Despite their 18-year age gap, Rick and Angie have been together for about a year. Their relationship started months after the reality TV star finalized his fourth marriage to Amanda Palmer. Their engagement marked a new beginning for the couple, especially after the loss of Rick’s son.
The Blast covered the story, reporting that Adam passed away from an accidental overdose of fentanyl and methamphetamine at 39. His roommate claimed he had been exhibiting erratic and strange behaviors, alleging he locked himself in a room inside the guest house he lived in.

Following Adam’s d3ath, his family expressed their grief in a statement, saying, “Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss.” Rick further shared his heartache in an Instagram post, writing, “You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam.”
Rick’s rep shed more light on the grieving father’s feelings, implying the government had failed his son. “Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose. The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously,” they stressed.
“It seems it is just flowing over the borders, and nothing is being done about it. We must do better,” the rep added. Adam was buried at a private funeral ceremony attended by close friends and family. He was one of the two sons Rick welcomed with his first ex-wife, Kim Harrison.

Three years before Adam’s death, The Blast confirmed that Rick had secretly parted ways with his third wife, Deanna. In 2021, the former couple’s divorce came to light, with court documents revealing that Rick pulled the plug on their marriage in July 2020.
The TV personality filed to end their 7-year bond in Clark County, Nevada, citing irreconcilable differences.
In his documents, Rick stressed that throughout their relationship, the duo’s “tastes, mental dispositions, views, likes, and dislikes have become so divergent that they have become incompatible in marriage.”
Deanna responded to his filing with her agreement but asked the court to award her spousal support. Like most celebrity divorces, the former spouses mediated their differences out of court and signed a settlement in September 2020.
Rick Harrison Claimed His Third Divorce Was A ‘Mutual Decision’
Following his separation from Deanna, Rick implied he had no regrets about his dissolved union. “I got three great daughters out of it,” he said. The reality TV star added that his marriage “didn’t work out, and the divorce was a mutual decision.”
Rick’s third divorce was revealed days before the “Pawn Stars” launched a new season. At the time, Rick’s co-star Austin ‘Chumlee’ Russell reflected on his years on the show, noting he thought they would by now. In his words:
“I thought, if anything, I would be off doing some dumb show of my own. But we’re still making ‘Pawn Stars,’ and I’m loving it. Every year is better than the year before.”
Hopefully, Rick Harrison will be able to achieve his happily ever after by making “Pawn Stars” and walking down the aisle for the fifth time.
