Raccoon Mother Stays Close to Her Baby as a Fox Appears Nearby

The first light of dawn filtered through the trees as the forest slowly came alive. Birds sang from high branches, and a cool breeze carried the scent of damp leaves across the woodland floor.

Near a small stream, hidden beneath thick bushes and fallen logs, a raccoon mother was beginning another day with her young kit close by.
