- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the honey dissolves.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot and shimmering.
- Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and caramelizes.
- Serve hot over cooked rice, spooning the extra sticky sauce over the top.
Notes
For additional crispiness, you can use skin-on thighs and sear them skin-side down first. This recipe can also be made ahead and stored in the fridge or freezer.
